• SEDS was founded in the USA in 1980
• Active branches in UK, USA, Ireland and Canada
• UKSEDS formed in 1988
• Individual members and ~10 branches
• An affiliate of the European Space Agency
• Run purely by students and young professionals

• Annual General Meeting is TOMORROW!• Six positions elected (chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer, education office, publications officer).•Also need people to write the website, help with publications, organise events, co-ordinate the branches etc etc etc.• Best way to meet both your peers and leaders in the space community• No specialist knowledge required - just enthusiasm, motivation and time
