Students from the sustainability Block U started a nonprofit to daylight creeks in the Jordan River Watershed. An embedded librarian worked with the Block U Students 20. J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah Open-Access Publication The Marriott Library supports Open Journal System software to publish open access journals. The DSL has been working with the Sustainability Resource Center to help launch a new journal for student research. 22. J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah Multi-Media Digital Libraries An online exhibit is a way to highlight multi-medial collections. The Utah Urban Pioneers project is a collection of oral history interviews, a concert tape and other artifacts collected by folklorist Polly Stewart. Jamie Qing Ye, serves as a student MUSE Intern & Web Page Developer Supported with a grant from LSTA. 23. J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah Multi-Media Digital Libraries Early graphics computers had no printers. A photographer took pictures of the screen and glued them into technical reports. Photocopy and microform reports often have poor quality images. Utah State Historical Records Advisory Board provided a grant to digitize and preserve photos. We recently received another grant from Chevron to continue work digitizing these reports 24. J.
