Research on music magazine covers

All these magazine are Q, the magazines main title is always kept to the left hand corner of the page this is important as it is always constant on the Q based magazines the titles must have to be the same or people will be confused and possibly think it’s a different magazine. This is always seen as unprofessional hence the reason it doesn’t happen often. The colour scheme is very similar in Q magazines often the colour red and black because these are the main theme for the magazine Q, however there is other colours used for Q magazines such as pink if it’s a slight different picture on the cover to make it match but also for like summer editions.

The way the text is structured on the magazines is similar on each magazine as you can see it’s in boxes, this makes it easier for people to sometimes read the text but it also looks very effective.

The master heads and sub titles on all og these magazines and in a nice bold font, this is so the readers can read them clearly with the hope of hooking them in. all these little things together make a magazine more successful.

On the cover all 3 magazines have used a famous artist this is to gain a larger audience by attracting their fans. This would have an increase in sales of the magazine because the readers will be interested as to what new gossip is about the celebrity’s.
