Located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, inthe L ivingstone district of Zambia andthe Hwange district of Zimbabwe.They are 1.7 km wide and 108 metreshigh, an extraordinary spectacle.Waterdropping into a narrow and very deepabyss. 3. David L ivingstone visited the Falls in 1855and named them in honour of QueenVictoria. Locally they are still called M osi-oa-T unya, which means the smoke thatthunders.It is one of the greatest tourist attractionson the African continent.In 1989 UNE SCO declared these falls aH umanity Heritage Site, covering aprotected area of 8,780 hectares. 4. A child on the edge of an abyss !!!o 5. oT is called T Devils Phis heool, a naturalswimming pool formed in the rocks just above the 108 metre high Victoria Falls!!! 6. Challenging danger! 7. T bravest ones stand on the very heedge to get their photos taken! 8. From September to December, due to low water levels, it is safe to swim on the edge of this waterfall. 9. Jumping into the pool! 10. Unforgettable!!!! 11. Curiosity overcomes fear... 12. relaxing 13. Taking original photos!! 14. Such emotion... 15. And euphoria... 16.
