Teachers can integrate visuals effectively to promote learning in the classroom. Visual may be found in :- Art

Drama

Foreign language

Language Arts

Mathematics

Library

Integration Of Visual Resources in the Classroom

Our lesson today we will integrate visual arts into Mathematics.

Subject for Visual Integration in the classroom

The subject that we will integrate is Language Arts.

Topic for Visual Integration in the classroom

The topic will be Nouns.

Grade level for Visual Integration in the classroom

Ages are 6-7 years.

Objectives for Visual Literacy Integration in the classroom

Objectives:

At the end of the lesson students will be able to use visual to identify what a noun is and the different types of nouns.

At the end of the lesson students will be able to use different visuals to show proper and common nouns.

Objectives for Visual Literacy Integration in the classroom

Objectives:

At the end of the lesson students will be able to use visual to show a noun as a person place, thing and animal.

At the end of the lesson students will be to create a visual book using nouns that the see or use every day.

Brief description of Visual Literacy

Integration in the classroom

The topic will be introduce by listening a video on nouns. The will identify what is a noun and the different types. The video will have larger pictures to show each student . After the video students will then be ask to draw or paint a visual of what describe in the reading.

Decoding

What is decoding?

Decoding is how we read or interpret images.

Decoding activity

The decoding activity will be for students

to interpret a poster on littering.

Encoding

What is encoding?

Encoding is how we create meaning to the visuals.

Encoding activity

The encoding activity will be to make students create a poster on how to littering. After they make the poster it will be place around

the school to help encourage students not to litter.
