STUDENTS CELEBRATED TUITION FREEDOM DAY February 26, 2014. With 75 percent of the school year completed, students marked the day by celebrating the fact that what they pay in tuition only covers 75 percent of the cost of their education. The rest is made up by philanthropic donations from alumni and friends.

Hundreds of Waynesburg Alumni returned to campus October 4 and 5, 2013, to celebrate

HOMECOMING Weekend. With beautiful weather and a football win, it proved to be a great weekend.

Waynesburg University was ranked a top value college for 2014 in an outcome-based college rankings index compiled by Educate To Career (ETC), which describes its rankings as an effort to deliver on the promise of the federal government’s College Scorecard by providing “actual college outcomes data.” Waynesburg ranked No. 104 out of the more than 1,200 schools listed in the nationwide ETC College Rankings Index.

The University inaugurated its 15thpresident, Douglas G. Lee, March 25, 2014. The multi-day

celebration included Day of Service and a concert by Grammy-winning Christian singer Michael W. Smith.

More than 215 STUDENTS and 20 FACULTY AND STAFF MEMBERS served domestically and abroad during the 2013-2014 academic year. The University offered covering a variety of academic and professional interests that gave students the opportunity to serve the Greene County community and beyond.
