**Measured according to highest percentage
• 19% of female and 20% of male do not support the green environments initiative.
• 26% of female and 19% of male do not support Earth Hour. • 26% of female and 18% of male do not use reusable bag. • 29% of female and 33% of male do not recycle.
CONCLUSION From the statistic;
• It shows that male is more eco-friendly compare to female based on the findings and questionnaires.
• Male and female aged 37 and above are more eco-friendly than youths.
We came up with the reason why there are different percentage between male and female:
• First, male seldom go shopping compare to women because women love to shop and majority of women their hobby are shopping. Reusable bag in this case is not reliable to hold their massive stuff. (from question 4)
• Second, we asked a question about do they prefer walking to go to nearby places, turned out women prefer to use car because they don’t like the heat during the day or at night they’re too scared to walk, for men they prefer to walk because at the same time they can do exercise whereas most male love to workout. (from question 3)
CONCLUSION (CONT’D)
• 26% of female do not support Earth Hour probably because they need electricity to do house chores. (from question 2)
• Male at their pension age likely to recycle to find extra income. (from question 10)
• Not all women are not eco-friendly, from the statistic women at the age of 47 are trying to save the environment by reducing using the electricity, around this age they use less electricity because most of the time they don’t use air-conditioner. (from question 1)
RECOMMENDATION
The conclusion to the problem:
• By introducing a fancy eco-friendly bag for women so they will use the bag because it suits them and they find it attractive.
• Second, is to set up MRT or electric train like in Malaysia for Brunei, it’s more eco-friendly than car, from here there will be less traffic jam and less smoke produce.
