YOUR LIBRARY ACCOUNTLIBRARY CARD NUMBER & PASSWORD On the back:

● Default password: last name (CAPS using SHIFT)

● To checkout books, use the databases off-campus, & access catalog options

Distance students can request a library card.

WEBADVISOR ID & PASSWORD

● To sign onto any campus computer● Default password:

first initial & last initial (CAPS) + last 4 digits of your student ID# + stcc (lowercase)

ex. RS3333stcc● If you don’t know what your

WebAdvisor ID or password is, you will need to call the HelpDesk (755-4016) or visit the Student Success Center in Building 27 (across the hall)

IN-TEXT CITATIONS● Use when quoting or paraphrasing information from your

sources● Identify source by name (this will be the first word in the

source’s citation on the Works Cited page)● Identify the page or paragraph number where the information

can be found● In-text citations can be inserted a number of ways:

The former president has spoken out about the need for a new plan to fight climate change that involves more government action (Clinton 3).
