Undocumented Immigrants• Estimated 11.5 million undocumented immigrants in the US as
of 2006.
• Many school districts don’t require proof of citizenship to enroll.

• Eligibility• Came to the United States before 16th birthday• Have lived continuously in the United States since 15 July 2007• Were under age 31 on 15 June 2012• Have completed high school or a GED, have been honorably discharged from
the armed forces, or are enrolled in school†• Have not been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanors*
† Note: As of 2008 (Bush) certain undocumented people who arrived as children are allowed to serve in armed forces but are otherwise ineligible for Federal Financial Aid.* Being undocumented is a crime, working w/o visa is a crime.
In Sum• You are eligible if• You have a child, who is a citizen, born before 11/20/2014, AND
you have lived continuously in the US since 1/1/2010, and you were on US soil 11/20/2014, and you can pay taxes*, and you have never committed a crime**.
• You were brought to the US by your parents before 1/1/2010 before your sixteenth birthday, and you are in school, or you graduated/got a GED, or you were honorably discharged from the military†.

Criminalizing Immigration• Excluded from Obama’s Amnesty:• Aliens apprehended at the border or ports of entry while
attempting to unlawfully enter the United States.• Aliens apprehended anywhere in the United States after
unlawfully entering or re-entering the United States and who cannot establish to the satisfaction of an immigration officer that they have been physically present in the United States continuously since 1/1/2014
• Aliens who, in the judgment of an ICE Field Officer Director, USCIS District Director, or USCIS Service Center Director, have significantly abused the visa or visa waiver programs.
• UNLESS they qualify for asylum.
