conclusionthe OTS for zombieland has common conventions form the horror genre such as

• blood, and other ascetic altering makeup• temporal extension to slow the passage of time and create an effect

depending on the framing• But unlike most horror film it has comedy as a sub-genre, this is shown by

the humor in his list. The audience now expect this to be funny as well as a horror.

• This now adds the conventions of taboo jokes about the dead, as this is now essentially a dark comedy.
