Theoretical Program

In this program, students are provided theoretical knowledge on various subjects related to pharmacy. History of Medicine and Pharmacy, Law and Ethics of pharmacy, Basic Anatomy and Physiology, and

classification of drugs/ pharmacology.

Practical Training Program

In this program, students gain real time experience of working in a pharmacy lab. They also learn how to maintain coordination with technicians and other

staff members.

Additional Program

Additional training is also provided to students. It covers topics like calculations for pharmacy

technician, dosage forms, prescription processing, OTC medications, repackaging and compounding,

aseptic technique, billing, computer entry etc.

Certification

After completion of training, students need to go for the National Certification Exam. This is essential

for students, if they want to become certified in this profession.
