White School

From 12th to 15th January 2016 our school organized a winter camp called ‘’White School” in Białka Tatrzańska (it’s a ski resort in the Tatra Mountains about 120 km from Gorlice). The originator and the main organizer was our PE teacher Mr Edward Babiś. He organized the transport, the accommodation, prepared the documentation of the camp and the plan of all the activities. A group of 18 students from two schools took part in the White School: 10 students from school in Kobylanka and 8 students from school in Dominikowice. PE teachers looked after them and carried out outdoor winter activities (skiing, skating, tyre sledging, swimming in the thermal outdoor and indoor swimming pools). Both students and their teachers spent a wonderful time in Białka Tatrzańska. The participants enjoyed the weather with a lot of snow, the views, the atmosphere and the outdoor winter activities. The students enthusiastically took part in the activities and competitions, they were open and willing to cooperate. The important thing is that the atmosphere was friendly, students stuck to rules and enjoyed themselves. We firmly believe that such school events are useful and we are going to organize them regularly every winter n the future.
