Christmas EveWe celebrate Chrismas Eve on the twenty-fourth of December from seven pm until midnight . For Chrismas Eve,we eat turkey foie gras, salmon, oysters, snails and we decorate our house with a Christmas tree,Christmas balls, garlands and Christmas wreaths . In Estelle’s family, they go to church for the midnight mass but in Margot’s and Manon’s family they don’t. We open presents at midnight or the next day.Written by Estelle, Margot and Manon.

The twenty-fifth December is Christmas day, we sometimes go to midnight mass. We receive gifts from our family and friends.

We open the gifts which are under the tree but we rarely sing Christmas carols. For the Christmas meal, we eat toat with salmon or foie gras, For the main dish, we eat turkey

Christmas in BrioudeIn Brioude , there are lots of Christmas activities, don’t miss them!: the merry-go-round, races, raffles, Christmas Markets…These activities open from 12th to 31st December , in the city centre of Brioude.Shopkeepers organize a big Xmas raffle; with a SEAT MINI to win.A beautiful present for Xmas !The 12th (Saturday )and the 13th (Sunday) December is the Christmas Market on the Places aux Herbes.The Xams ‘santa dash’ organized by the Club Athletic Brioude starts at 3.30 pm for the kids and at 4.30 pm for the parents.At 6.00pm there is a fireworks display to end the evening!

In our city, there are lots of decorations too like tinsel, Christmas lights, Christmas balls and shop windows which are decorated.
