Introduction

Moving back in our history, let us commemorate the

role played by women in our history, those women who

have provided invaluable service to our country. Those

women fought, bled and suffered for the nation and for

Summary• . Melchora Aquino were known as Tandang Sora.Gregoria de Jesus are wife of Andres Bonifacio and Lakambini of the Katipunan.


Marcela Mariño Agoncillo makes the first Philippine flag.

Teresa Magbanua are known as the Visayan Joan of Arc.

Trinidad Tecson were known as the Mother of Biak-na-Bato.


Agueda Kahabagan was the only woman general in the Philippine Revolution.

Patrocinio Gamboa y Villareal are Known as the “Heroine of Jaro”,


ConclusionFilipinos especially women are greatest lover of freedom.

Filipino women are helpful, loving, caring, brave and strong.


Each heroine has their own goal or reasons for fighting, some wants to revenge while most of them wanted to serve their country.
