Architect Prof.D.P.Joshi a tribute to his architectural vision by Arch.Chetan D. Joshi,Arch.Suchetra C. Joshi, Ranjan R. Joshi and Mrs.Vidyalakshmi R.Joshi
29 paintings, 86years old Architect Prof.D.P.Joshi did two years before his death evoked
some curiosity in my mind about his visit to USA and Europe on students scholarship as an
upcoming architect in 1959/60 during which he documented many places about 1,500
photographs through his Camera. Here I have just use only 268 photographs to study my
hypothesis. Is their any resemblance to the painting visual images his brain that was trying to
recollect? Are they close to his ultimate architectural vision? The paintings are just
spontaneous water colour sketches his son Arch.Chetan D. Joshi,his wife Arch.Suchetra C.
Joshi encouraged him to keep his mind engaged as an aging person to maintain his good
mental health. This slide show Ranjan Raghuvir Joshi created curiously to understand some
insights, as he has witnessed 50 years ago(1959/60) this said visit as 10 year old nephew of

The Eifel Tower clicked in 1960 during Paris visit by him is recalled back in 2010 by visual memory and rendered spontaneously in water colors. The perspective is changed but details are closed to the original image. It is also interesting to note the new interpretation in the middle part of stricture.
