- Tamarins have a 20 year life span- They are co-operatively polyandrous primates; One mom and two dads who do most of the mothering

- The Gorillas are polygynous primates; Alpha male has many wives and is in charge- Alpha male protects and females do mothering- Male Gorillas can be 3 to 4 times bigger than a female

- Female Gorilla grooms her offspring while she feeds him

- The Orangutans are solitary primates; They do not like sharing their food, hence them being alone- The relationship between mother and offspring lasts 13 years

- Chimpanzees are the most social of the primates- They are polygamous primates; They have fluid and dynaic social groupings- They sit on their ischial callosities- They build future friends & sexual partners by doing favors and helping one another- Where they sit is a hierarchy; The ones on top have more power than the ones at the bottom

- Siamangs are monogamous primates; Commit to a single partner for life- Female Siamangs will holler to let others know its their territory; After 15 min or so, male hollers to shut female up- They are primates with brachiation
