Pipelines has been defined through 7nr priority sectors / zones: Lot A1 - a part of the existing asbestos cement pressure transmission main, which conveys the water from the well field

“Korace” to the reservoir “Bijelo Brdo”, was to be replaced. Lot A2 - two sections of the asbestos cement gravity transmission main, which conveys water from the reservoir “Bijelo Brdo”

to the reservoir “Babino Brdo” was to be replaced. Lot A3 - The gravity asbestos cement transmission main, which conveys water from the reservoir Babino Brdo“ to the reservoir

„Gakovac”, shall be partly replaced. The other gravity asbestos cement transmission main, which delivers water from the reservoir “Babino Brdo“ to the Water Supply Zone 1 in the city of “Derventa”, was also to be partly replaced.

Lot A4 - the Reservoir “Gakovac”- City Network Feeder Line located in Stevana Nemanje Street was to be replaced. Lot A5 - a distribution asbestos cement pipes which are located in “Srpske Vojske”street was to be replaced, new house

connections installed Lot A6 – a distribution asbestos cement pipeline in “Stefana Nemanje Street” with belonging house connections were to be

replaced. Lot A7 – The distribution Zinc-pipes which are located in “Radnička street” together with belonging house connections were to

be replaced. Lot A8 – Provision and installation of SCADA System with associated software, equipments, ultrasonic flow meters, pressure

reducing valves on critical locations, integration into the SCADA System. Lot A9 – provision of Water Meters, PE Shafts and associated fittings for Water Utility “Komunalac”

In total - 12,630.52m of DI & PE Pipelines have been installed under the Project, 309nr of house connections, 14nr of supporting

concrete manholes. From remaining budget – several pipelines were extended (Lot A3, A5, A6, A7). Project Budget – 2,000,000.00EUR

A part of the existing asbestos cement pressure transmission main, which conveys the water from the well field “Korace” to the reservoir “Bijelo Brdo”, was to be replaced. Pipe material: DI DN300, PN16 in 2,207.80m Length with 1nr new Mud Outlet Valve Shaft. Considering this previously war-affected area has present mine fields, it was required that demining of pipe route corridor is conducted prior of any construction works.
