In comparison to the traditional method with which this type of analysis was performed, the AL 204represents a qualitative leap in many ways:
• Time: compared to the traditional method, from hours to minutes - 10minutes per analysis -.
• Accuracy: you can obtain certainty on the aluminum content of yoursample with an accuracy of less than 1%.
• Comfort: The entire procedure is performed directly in your computer,collecting the results in a specially designed software from which youcan perform statistical analysis, averages, standard deviation. You cansee the results in graphics directly on the screen software to make quickcomparisons.
• Safety: the handling of corrosive liquids is reduced to a minimum.
• Versatility: in addition to managing the data directly in your specific software, the results areexportable to settings such as Access or Excel.
The AL 204 equipment has been specially designed forfast and accurate determination of the concentration ofaluminum in metal slags. Through the analysis of gasesresulting from the attack of the sample with sodiumhydroxide (NaOH) can be obtained quickly - in just 10minutes - and accurate - accuracy >99% - the percentageof aluminum content in the sample.

The H2 released from the re-
action, kept sealed under aconstant volume and stabletemperature conditions, willgenerate a pressure increaseproportional to the percent-age of metallic aluminium inthe sample.

Working method
Place the weighed sample in a crucible and introduce a stirrer, insert all into theanalyzer and close the head
Automatically - by a peristaltic pump - the analyzer will dispense an excess of reagentA to the sample, to start up the reaction.
At the same time, the crucible heating system and the stirring system will be swuitchedon- these will remain operative until the end of the analysis.
The end of the analysis will be determined by a preset analysis time or elseautomatically - once the pressure may remain stable for a certain period of
time.
The Unit will compensate the temperature - automatically - to determine theresult in an accurate manner.
