PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

Anchoring device made of in zinc plated ste-el rod, to be embedded in rein-forced concrete structures (precast) .

It is a EN 795/96 A.1 and A.2 AnchoringDevice for fall protection systems, made upin such a way that it can be verified ifit has been properly installed after thepouring of the concrete and, therefore, during its use.

USE

Perfect solution for ridges in sloped roofs, slab edges, bridge edges and civil works in viaducts.

It allows the direct link of the harness to a fall protection system or theinstallation of temporary lifelines, for which it has a breaking load of no less than 3000 daN.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Once you have inserted the label thatis provided together with the rod, tie itto the rebar of the structure so thatwhen concrete is poured the ancho-ring device is embedded, at least, up tothe top of the crack that exists in oneof its legs.Ensure the frame in the Influence Vo-lume is equal to or greater than 2 * 12mm. steel bars.

LIMITATIONS

RECOMMENDATIONS

Consider the installation of the anchor device along the roof or slab edge, or in a transver-se way if you are planning to install Lifelines; both arrangements are correct.Tie the device to the rebar of the structure; you will also prevent it from moving during the pouring and vibratingof concrete.

In case of installing portable lifelines, please check possible movements of the lifeline main body in order to prevent that any element could damage the webbing.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

Anchor installed through wedging forthe use with rocks, allowing the anchoring for fall arrest harnessesin quarries and civil works.Certified according to EN795, Class A.

USE

Due to its simple and easy installation, it is an ideal safety anchor device for works perfor-med, with a fall risk, in:

• Quarry fronts.• Terraces.• Boulders.• Slopes in civil works.

In general, for those situations and above all, for working environments where compres-sed air is the mainpower source or where electricity is not rea-dily available.

Perfect for aggressive environments requi-ring robust, simply and reliable solutions.

ADVANTAGES

The ROC-30 Anchorage Point is designed to be installed with the usual toolsin works in quarries and civil works: pneuma-tic drill with a 32 mm bit andhummer. It creates anchoring systems both, for the di-rect fastening of harnesses and forlifeline installation (R≥2,500daN).

LIMITATIONS

• 1 worker/anchorage point• Only for rocks and bases of enough di-

mensions and firmness.• Useful life: Without usage limit as long as

its minimum dimensions and the opti-mum condition of the set is kept

INSTALLATION

Select for the installation a rock with enough dimensions so as not to move it by the

traction in the Anchoring Device of direction and sense caused by the possible fall of a wor-ker.Reference strength: 2500daN.Select a heal area and without cracks in the rock that will receive the fixation.Drill a 32 to 35 mm (1,26 in to 1,38 in) diameter and go at least 36 cm /14,17 ft deep.Introduce the cylinder and the wedge, in order that the lower part of the drilled sheet of the cylinder is separated 40 cm/15,75 in from the upper surface of the rock.

Hit the wedge with a hammer until having mo-ved it 2cm/0,79 in.

To disassemble the anchor, strongly pound the cylinder with the direction to introduce it in therock, this will release the anchoring pressure allowing its removal.

You may validate the installation with the Test-10 (check the DAT-XX -Serie with a 10 kN brea-king force)

APPLICATION

For construction sites in which there are no other possibilities to secure workers.

ADVANTAGES

Maximal Loading force of 20KN. Surroun-dings of the anchorage (filling of the hole) must be stone-free and with no cutting pie-ces. Useful life: 18 months from the installa-tion date. We can also provide this product in stainless steel for permanent installations.

LIMITATIONS

• Maximal Loading force of 20KN. Surroun-dings of the anchorage (filling of the hole) must be stone-free and with no cutting pieces.

• Useful life: 18 months from the installation date.

• We can also provide this product in stain-less steel for permanent installations.

INSTALLATION

The DAT-XX Anchor is designed to be insta-lled in a 1,5m deep well. The removed earth has to be poured it again. Once the ancho-rage is installed the INSTALLATION HAS TO BE PROVED CORRECT with the use of the TEST-10 available for this purpose. The level of efficiency may vary depending on the type of soil, the filling and compressing processes. The testing should be done in the same direction as the use is planned to take place. Fulfilling this remarks, the DAT-XX complies with the EN 795 Class A.
