OBJECTIVE To monitoring the landslide using appropriate

sensors and controller and also detect live human in disaster detected area .

ABSTRACT The system focuses on monitoring landslide and human

detection and generate warning using sensors and controller. This will generates warning when level of earth vibrations

crosses a threshold and live human identity in that location. Detecting a longitudinal wave of a seismic movement by a

MEMS accelerometer this is a vibration sensor. The human identity is carried out by using PIR sensor. The sensor outputs are given to the control unit. Arduino micro controller is used to controlling the whole

system. If the sensor detect the human and vibration the buzzer will

be ON and displayed in the LCD display.

INTRODUCTION Landslide become one of the major problem in most of

the countries around the world. This is cannot be eliminated, i.e. it is not possible to

control the Landslide, however this condition can be prevented.

If the authorities always know the current state of the earth vibrations level.

The Disaster Alert systems have been introduced to notify people in the early stage about the possible threat.

So that safety precautions can be taken to avoid any mishap.

PROPOSED SYSTEM In this system using to monitoring Landslide by

Arduino controller. The sensors, used here to monitor earth vibration is

MEMS sensor and live human is PIR sensor. The outputs of sensors are given to Arduino

controller. LCD Display is used to display the warning when

level of earth vibrations crosses a threshold and live human detected.

The Buzzer will be ON when the Live human is detected.

MATERIAL USEDRechargeable battery It is a one type of electrical battery which can

be charged; discharged in to a load. Recharged many times while a non

rechargeable or primary battery is supplied fully charged and discarded once discharged.

ARDUINO UNO The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based

on the ATmega328. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can

be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.

It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller.

Simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC to DC adapter or battery to get started.

PIR SENSOR PIR is a pyroelectric sensor module which

developed for human body detection. A PIR sensor is used to detect the black

radiation emitted by the human being and give the signal to microcontroller.

PIR sensors allow you to sense motion, almost always used to detect whether a human has moved in or out of the sensors range.

They are small, inexpensive, low-power, easy to use and don't wear out.

MEMS SENSOR An accelerometer is an electromechanical device

that is used to measure acceleration and the force producing it.

They can be divided according to the force (static or dynamic) that is to be measured.

Due to its small size and robust sensing feature, they are further developed to obtain multi-axis sensing.

DC GEAR MOTOR Geared DC motors can be defined as an extension of

DC motor which already had its Insight details demystified here.

A geared DC Motor has a gear assembly attached to the motor.

The speed of motor is counted in terms of rotations of the shaft per minute and is termed as RPM.

The gear assembly helps in increasing the torque and reducing the speed.

Using the correct combination of gears in a gear motor, its speed can be reduced to any desirable figure.

APPLICATIONS OF PROPOSED SYSTEM Real time earthquake and human detection system. In this system can be used at the time of natural disaster

to save the lives of human. This can also be used to detect the humans in disaster

area. Wireless control of robot directions and movement. Human detection robot can be used at the time of

natural calamities to save the lives of human. This can also be used to detect the humans in the war

field. This can be used for security purpose in the jewellery

shops, museums, etc.

CONCLUSION This project has been successfully designed and

tested. Integrating features of all the hardware

components used have developed it. Presence of all reasoned out and placed carefully

thus contributing to the best working. This method concludes the recent technological

advances in communication made new trends in the disaster monitoring system.
