There are three types of locomotives maintained in this shed. They are…

WAP4- These locomotives are used in mail and passenger trains

WAMA- These locomotives are used in passenger and goods trains

WAG7- These locomotives are used in goods trains

Pneumatic Section

This section works on air compression buildup .In this section either repairing of compression system is done or replacement of damaged system to new system is achieved.

Working of PPIO (Progress Planning & Information Organisation)

Whole electric loco shed performance and activities were controlled under section

Auxiliary SectionThis section works on the auxiliary motors and equipment , which converts single-phase into three-phase

Working of E-1 to E-4 Section

E-1 Section: In this section task related to trouble shoot is performed

E-2 Section: In this section task related to handling of electrical equipment were performed.

E-3 Section: Maintenance of traction motor comes under this section

E-4 Section: Maintenance of microprocessor and relay comes under this section.

Working of M-1 to M-3 Section

M-1 Section: This section works on locomotive structures that is wheel and bearings.

M-2 Section:Working just like M-1 section

Working of Pantograph

Pantograph is a hinged frame that holds the long collecting shoes against the wire in a fixed geometry.
