Facts
• The hotel is situated in a man-made island.
• It’s tallest and first hotel to surpass 1000ft in height.
• It took three years to reclaim the land from sea and less than three years to construct building itself.
• Burj al Arab has a 24 meter (79feet ) wide helipad which is 210 meters above the ground.
