Product & ServicesWe specialize in the design & build of hard point inspection gauges and machining fixtures. Our services range from complete design and build, to build only projects. Project scopes can be large or small, ranging from entire programs to single operations or tools.

We are committed to working hand in hand with our customers, to ensure we capture all of the customer’s needs.

At Precision Tool, we have a strong background in various types of Aerospace machined components, including blades, vanes, nozzles, shroud hangers, and heat shields.

Our processing allows us to tune and adjust all of our gauges and fixtures to within the required tolerances. Our hard point gauges are repeatable down to within .0001”, as dictated by part manufacturing tolerances.

Once design concepts are complete, we hold an internal design review. Next, concepts are submitted to the customer for approval to ensure we have captured your requirements. Once the customer has approved the concept, we will complete the design. Once the designs are completed, they are 100% checked internally by checker before they are released to the tool room for build.

Precision Tool is a 6,000 Square foot facility located in Vermontville, MI. Our shop is fully climate controlled to ensure we attain the highest precision tolerances, to meet our customers demands. Our core group of employees have been working together for 20+ years, designing & building hard point inspection gages and machining fixtures for the Aerospace/ Power Generation industries, mainly in the arena of blades, vanes, nozzles, shroud hangers, and heat shields.

Company HistoryKeith Brandon Started CB Industries in 1975 CB Industries was a tooling company that specialized in the design & build of both machining fixtures and hard point inspection gauges. CB industries was sold in 1998 and became Durgam Tool & Die. The focus of Durgam Tool & Die was not Aerospace Tooling, so a group of the older CB Industry employees went out on their own and created Precision Tool Inc., in an effort to continue their focus on being the best Aerospace/Power Generation gauge & fixture supplier in the business.Many of those who worked at CB Industries still work at Precision Tool Inc. today and have worked to pass their knowledge on to the rest of the employees, which has enabled Precision Tool to maintain a talented workforce on quality, functionality, and conformance to delivery commitments.
