Directed team that maintained and enhanced optimization/scheduling systems. Responsible for financial planning and analysis functions for Flexjet Operations involving preparation and

submission of $300M operations budget including fuel, aircraft maintenance and operations overhead expenses. Analyzed P&L and presented budget and forecast variance explanations to Senior Management. Developed and implemented cost containment measures in cooperation with the various operations teams. Responsible for team that processed and evaluated operations invoices for accuracy and cost recovery. Provided periodic and ad hoc data reporting for entire Flexjet organization, including operations KPI reporting and

data mining through MSAccess and SQL Server, as well as aircraft inventory reporting for Flexjet Sales and Marketing groups.

Systems included optimizers for aircraft/crew “day of” scheduling as well as aircraft maintenance and crew vacation/work schedules.

Completed implementation of custom optimization system developed in coordination with GERAD - a research team consisting of PhD's, students and analysts from McGill University and The University of Montreal.

Developed complex operational models to forecast global flight activity of more than 60,000 annual flight hours distributed among five different aircraft/crew fleet types, five crew bases and multiple ownership levels and programs.

Established optimal flight crew and aircraft resource levels through the use of regression and normal distribution demand/capacity modeling.
