Properties of Ti Grade 4

The strongest of all the commercially pure

titanium.

Known for its reduced cold formability, decent

weldability and great corrosion resistance.

It is commonly used in applications that

require high strength like airframe parts, CPI

equipment, and heat exchangers but more

recently, it has been found more in medical

applications.

marks of any commercially pure titanium. With very decent

ductility and wedability it also brings excellent corrosion

resistance, high strength and formability ratings, where

marine and aircraft construction hold these properties at

top priority.

across almost all industries.

Titanium Grade 4 comes in several forms of

product. Some of the more common forms are

bars, billets, plates and strips of pipe and wire.
