CAMERAWORK. LIGHTENING. In the first picture it shows a dim picture of an instrument, as this shows a clear close- up of the instrument. This also gives the audience some kind of guess this video could be performance based. In the second picture we see a clear long shot showing all the band members and the instruments. We see them playing them and the whole scenery around them. In the third picture is the beginning of the video, this show a long shot of two hanging light bulbs in a dark room. This tells the audiences the video could be about anything. The long shot shows indie/folk features of quite minimal lighting. In the first picture, the light is very bright so it lights up the whole room showing everything inside. It shows that the room is empty and also that its actually an empty stage. In the second picture we again see lots of lights dangling everywhere, but after we see the first picture showing the stage, we see all the lights hanging are because there on show like they would be on a stage. These bright lights also emphasise the band member as the lights are bright. In the third picture we see a close up of the male playing a instrument and the light is bright again in the background, reflecting on him and his instrument.

an instrument, as this shows a clear close-

up of the instrument. This also gives the

audience some kind of guess this video

could be performance based.

anything. The long shot shows indie/folk

features of quite minimal lighting.

In the first picture, the light is very bright so it

lights up the whole room showing everything

inside. It shows that the room is empty and also

that its actually an empty stage.

In the second picture we again see lots of lights

dangling everywhere, but after we see the first

picture showing the stage, we see all the lights

MISE-EN-SCENE.

The first picture shows the male in his

suit, which is sort of a dated suit

meaning the band are a certain style.

He is also holding an instrument which

suggests he plays this.

In the second picture we see the whole

band and all their outfits, the scenery

and whole atmosphere looks old. The

vibe is they are playing on a lonely

stage, and each playing an instrument.

In the third picture we see the

emptiness of the stage, this showing

the scenery is plain and natural, which

is what most indie/folk scenes are like.

The usually have quite dark features

and then lighten up with very bright

scenes then natural lighting.
