AUDIENCE FEEDBACK ON ANCILLARY PRODUCTS

his was key for me to answer my first question in the evaluation,

because as I’ve created the film myself. I would be more likely to be

more bias then the audience. At first when I created the ancillary

products, I thought they were great with my film, however when we

asked people what they thought they were surprised and expected the

film to be a lot more darker and scarier.

SUSPENSE FEEDBACK

s I am new at making a film, when we first showed our rough cut, it

was ok but did not have as much as suspense. This is where our

audience feedback played a key role, as people gave us suggestions like

playing around with music , speeding up the pace and taking more

close ups. We worked on all of these improvements, and that is why I

believe I am now given feedback like “Considering it was just a

school production, I thought the film looked very professional”

FUNNY

’ve noticed quite frequently when I ask people what do they think

about my film, they say that it is quite funny, which is surprising since

we did not intend for our film to be funny, because of our twist in the

end, which most short films have and we tried to stick to these

conventions. I take this as a positive, because on YouTube there are

various of suspense short films, and when I scroll down to the

comments people have written how funny they find it.
