DANA

African Warrior Princess

MERCEDE

All About Me28 45

- The first women’s division match in BLKNS history featured two very talented individuals and characters.

- While DANA displayed her African warrior princess ferocity with some big power moves, Mercede acted all bitchy and showed offher boastful mannerisms like taking selfies after hitting signature moves and generally infuriating the crowd.

- At the end of 10 minutes, it was DANA who picked up the first victory with an African Warrior Driver (Widow’s Peak)

MIA SORENSEN

BLUE NOVA

Spanish Supernova29

27

- Coming into the match with her gothic gear, Sorensen was an eerie sight to behold.

- Blue Nova displayed full on face mannerisms, interacting with crowd and trying to pump up the whole arena whenever she was making a comeback

- The bout was poor though as these two didn’t click at all and Sorensen finished it off with a Red Danger (Rack Attack) in a short match.

THE UPRISING

Ejike Obi / Godfrey Igiebor

AIR CROATIA

Marjanovic / Kitarovic

36 20

- The Uprising was the hot favorites coming into this match as they were multiple tag champions across Europe while Air Croatia had just started teaming before this season.

- What they lacked in experience, they made up with their enthusiasm and energy as they showed off their acumen with a variety of ranas and the biggest spot was reserved for Kitarovic who did the Fosbury Flop over all three men.

- Uprising quickly made the comeback isolating Marjanovic and a Flapjack from Obi was enough to get the pin.

DA SILVA BROTHERS

Jacinto / Marco

Les Epines

Malherbe / DuBois

50 29

- Just like the last match, Da Silva Brothers were the outright favorites as they had been dominating Canada for the last 7 years.

- A much better match than the last one with both teams shining throughout the match, Les Epines almost had this won when Du Bois hit the DuBois Flair on Jacinto but Marco saved the day. Further sprawling between the two teams resulted in some wow moments.

- Jacinto dodged another DuBois Flair and then hit the Spinning Back Elbow on Marco to win the match.

MAIN EVENT

- Anwar Saad and Johnny Gallo started the proceedings in the main event and both brawled hard in the ring with both having near falls. Saad locked in his Cairo Clutch but Gallo held on before the countdown ended and we got our third entrant of the match.

#1 Anwar Saad #2 Johnny Gallo

#3 IDRIS RAMIC

Page 8: BLKNS Battle Crown

- The Bosnian judoka Idris Ramic made his way to the ring and started firing German suplexes to both the men before he hit the Kathajime to Gallo but Saad tried taking advantage by clubbing Ramic on the back and pinned Gallo but the timer ran out signalling the fourth entrant

#4 Jorge fernandes

- The first of the L.A.X entrants, Jorge Fernandez made his way to the ring and immediately started unloading on everyone with heavy hands but Saad blocked one too many attempts done by Fernandes and he kicked him in the guts before executing a trio of german suplexes as once again the timer ran out

#5 Jorge Lozano

Page 9: BLKNS Battle Crown

- Lozano joined his team mate in the ring and that was the change needed for L.A.X as he superkicked everyone before Fernandez hit Legado on Gallo to eliminate him.

- De Bruyne made his way and started dissing out some painful chokes and holds, especially to the two Jorge’s and he was about to eliminate Lozano with his arm trap Triangle Choke but the numbers game caught up to him as Fernandes saved the day and they bothhurt the Belgian big time but the timer ran out again and it was time for entrant #7.

#6 Christian de Bruyne

- The two then combined to eliminate Ramic with a combo Legado/Tangoed move with Lozano pinning him.

Page 10: BLKNS Battle Crown

- The arrival of Ricky Rowan changed things up big time as he started using underhanded tactics and his feared finisher, Powerbomb Deathlock eliminating both Fernandes and Lozano

#7 RICKY ROWAN

- With Saad alone in the ring with Rowan as De Bruyne was recuperating after taking double damage from the Jorge’s, things looked bleak for the Egyptian as he tried to employ run and hit tactics but once Rowan got hold of him, he delivered a massive super German suplex from the top turnbuckle as we got yet another entrant

#8 ares

Page 11: BLKNS Battle Crown

- The Nation of Domination leader arrived and after knocking out the already downed De Bruyne with some heavy punches, he engaged in a wild brawl with Rowan as we saw some heavy hand artillery being laid out by both sides. Striving to show their dominance to each other, Ares hit an Ares-Plex on De Bruyne while Rowan hit the Powerbomb Deathlock on Saad and they both got the pin at the same time.

- Belanger made his way to the ring amidst the two wild men staring a hole at him and he didn’t last long as repeated attacks from both the men in a bid to outdo each other spelled trouble for him. He got hit by yet another Powerbomb Deathlock but before Rowan could go for the pin, he was dragged out by Ares and they started brawling outside giving Belanger a chance to catch his breath.

#9 Searlas Belanger

#10 Mateja leckovic

Page 12: BLKNS Battle Crown

- Leckovic played to the crowd while coming down, in the process crashing with Rowan and he was in no mood to relent. Sending Ares arm first into the guard rails, he picked up Leckovic and dragged him towards the ring and then delivered Powerbomb Deathlock tomake Leckovic’s stay the shortest at just over 1 minute. He also finished off Belanger with a sit down powerbomb.

- It was Collichio who changed the pace. He headbutted everyone before he grabbed Ares and a big Samoan Drop forced him to roll out of the ring. A running clothesline from Rowan gave him the upper hand again and we made way for entrant no. 12

#11 Tommaso Colicchio

#12 MILOS TOMASEVIC

Page 13: BLKNS Battle Crown

- The League of Nations final representative Tomasevic made his way and instead of diving head first into action, he waited in theoutside and started brawling with Ares who had rolled out to get some reprieve, while Colicchio and Rowan carried on their fight.

- No eliminations occurred and we got the entrant no. 13

- Ares got some support as Melo came down to the ring and he saved his leader from Tomasevic before both of them banded together to eliminate Tomasevic.

- The match was coming down to business end with Ares and Melo of N.O.D and Rowan and Colicchio in the ring. Rowan and Colicchiomade a temporary team and they faced off against the Nation of Domination. Punches and slaps got exchanged, haymakers and clotheslines were hit like nobody’s business as we were alerted to #14.

#13 YAHYA MELO

Page 14: BLKNS Battle Crown

- Blade was caught in a no man’s land as nobody was interested to break off the duel and after a miniscule bit of offense, he got hit by the Powerbomb Deathlock by Rowan to make him Rowan’s 6th elimination. An absolutely dominating performance there.

- The face-off continued but N.O.D was capitalizing on mistrust issues and asserted their dominance as we finally got the final entrance of the night.

#14 TODD BLADE

#15 D’ANTON JOUBERT

Page 15: BLKNS Battle Crown

- The leader of La Resistance made his way and immediately made an impact as capitalizing on the face-off he caught Rowan in the Lyon Lock after Rowan has been hit by two Ares-plex and he had no choice but to tap out, finally ending the reign of Rowan.

- It was the confrontation of the ages, Colicchio and Joubert, rivals for a decade in the indies were renewing the same and the 70 odd people in the crowd went berserk. They nodded each other and both went for the N.O.D members, Colicchio locking in his GoldenGrip on Melo while Joubert breaking out the Lyon Lock on Ares and both the members tapped out at the same time leaving two clear survivors.

- Out of nowhere, the IFC Heavyweight champion Tyr walks out, perhaps to scout out his competition and this momentary lapse in concentration cost Colicchio as he fell prey to the Lyon Lock and after struggling for too long, finally passed out giving the win to Joubert.
