The term BREAK DANCING

Break dancing, also called b-boying, is a style of street dance that originated among Black and Puerto Rican teenagers in New York City during the early 1970s

• You walk down the street and suddenly your eye catches 2 teens not only standing on their heads but twisting their whole bodies too . The music is making your feet want to dance

• Break dancing is widely known for the variety of movements together with the muscle strength needed to do all this things

Break dance• As a street dance you don’t need to have a

stage , in fact you can dance even in a sidewalk

• In this fascinating but hard dance everybody puts his own style and that’s why I like it

The music

Break dancing is accompanied with funky music that consists of some rapping and Djing and it’s very popular in today’s teenagers

In many countries there are events called battles A battle is when two break dancing teams

compete one another by who will show off better movements
