My Character: Scrooge

Scrooge is a grumpy man. Ever since Christmas seven years ago Scrooge has

always been grumpy on Christmas, he hates Christmas.

Marley’s ghost!

Scrooge was at home just about to go to bed then he heard footsteps coming up the stairs and Scrooge is not one to get scared easily but, he was scared. He heard a bang on the door and then chains came flying through the door. The ghost said he was some one that used to have the name Marley. Scrooge did not believe him so he tried to convince him that it was Marley and asked him many questions and he answered them correct.

SCROOGES NEPHEW

Since Scrooge hates Christmas and wants nothing to do with it Scrooge’s nephew never expects him to show to

any of the Christmas parties they played one of the parlor games and it

was kind of like charades, except every member of the family chose to do him to make fun of him and mock him in

many ways. But when Scrooge shows up to the party and hears them talking he knows that he might as well start

going and they will stop making fun of him. Everyone at the party enjoyed

him being there too.

Mr. Cratchit

Mr. Cratchit is one of Scrooges workers. Mr. Cratchit gets paid fifteen shinings a week. In his family the mother did not work because of his son, Tim, they called him Tiny Tim. He had a kidney disease and was dying. At the end of the book Scrooge decides to go over once and he realizes how hard it is to be in that family and the day after Mr. Cratchit shows up late for work and was scared to get fired. When he showed up Scrooge gave him a raise. He really needed the money to pay for Tiny Tim and to pay for Christmas dinner.

Seven years ago on Christmas his best friend and partner , Marley died. The ghost of Christmas past new that Scrooge had always been grumpy since Marley died on Christmas that year. So the ghost of Christmas past brought him through the past good times he had.

He saw people that were dead and he had missed. He saw Marley and others. He went back to great times he had with them. He was flown back through time.

The ghost of Christmas present

The ghost of Christmas present shows him what is going to happen on Christmas day and Scrooge thinks about it and he decides to think more about his choices and be nicer to others.

The ghost of Christmas future shows him what will happen on Christmas day. For example the ghost tells him he is going to go to his grave and he does.
