A 19 year old elf with a scrappy look, tasseled hair, glasses and goggles with a pencil thin feel to him. Maxey is a nerd, but attractive by way of his boyish charm. He is an Inventor and lives in the shadow of his retired Father who is the "Head Inventor" for Top of the World Toy Factory. Maxey is a dreamer with his head in the clouds but also optimistic and getting serious about the world. He has something to prove.

A strong minded, athletic and cute as a bug’s ear elf that works as a Quality Control Inspector at the call center outside Maxey's workshop. Holly is kind and friendly with a strong sense of responsibility and reason. Holly and Maxey have known each other for years. She is Maxey’s ballast and has confidence in Maxey when he doesn't have confidence in himself.

An award winning Investigative reporter for Greater News Network (GNN). Always trying to impress the GNN bosses. A little pompous and has a nose for a story.

Maxey's pet polar pup. He is chubby, clumsy, mischievous and curious. Snowball is a typical puppy "troublemaker" at the workshop, but very loyal to Maxey and Holly. He is often scared by the unknown with a child-like quality. He is empathic and compassionate and loving.

Spiderwood Animation’s wonderful 13 minute holiday short film will be extended an additional 9 minutes, thus completing a 30 minute television episode (22 minute production time) ready for the 2013 Christmas/holiday television season.

The development and production costs for expanding current animation is much lower because the creation and publicity of "already developed characters” is fulfilled.

Future episodes

• The Flight of Magic theme and characters can easily transition into any other recognized holiday throughout the year. Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Mothers & Fathers Day

• Flight of Magic can be developed into a 13 episode television series utilizing existing characters, new characters or a combination of both. An animation series with stories and adventures in places such as outer space, the jungle or even the bottom of the ocean. Also, Benny Bumpley of GNN covers the stories, events and interesting conflicts that kids can relate to.

Additional story lines for Benny Bumpley could include assignments given to award winning international reporter Benny Bumpley by his boss , GNN's News Director "Smiley" Burnet, in order to SCOOP the rival TV network and in particular News Director Mr. Nibbleslime.
