Some facts – Web Entertainment
• More than 227 million Indians watch online video or TV programmes on their mobiles, laptops and tablets.
• 59 million people went to one video site or the other in November, 2013
• Google India's advertising revenue for just online video was 17% of film industry’s revenue.
• 40-50% of the traffic for video sites comes from the mobile devices.
• T-series got more than 90% of its revenue from streaming and downloading services.

Challenges to growth
● Lack of popular destination other than YouTube
● Very low revenue from video sites
● Live streaming data cost is expensive.
● Less number of internet users as compared to other nations.
