House music is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the American city of Chicago, Illinois in the early 1980s.
Became very popular in the mid 1980s. Early house music was generally dance-based
music characterised by repetitive 4/4 beats and rhythms centred around drum machines.
In 2012 House is the most popular form of dance music in the world, evident by the world's most popular DJ, House DJ David Guetta, claiming the #1 Poll position of the DJ Mag 100 popularity poll.

House music has came about from different styles of music genres. Here they are:
-Garage house -Boogie -Hi-NRG -Soul -Funk -Synthpop -Dub -Hip Hop

been pushing the genre (House Music) forward. Because when people come and watch the film they will listen to House Music, and then the popularity of the House Music genre will grow even more.
