bring music to people rather the people to music.

This process can be achieved by singing up musician that are willing to performs gigs, at particular place, for a set of people or group of people. And also to allow those that are enable to come to concert to enjoy live performance.

Hence in the an article the city council city the parties are one of the favourite things Novocastrian love to do. (city council)

Place of holding performance.

-Shopping centre

-Universities Of Newcastle

Why? Because the target audience are more likely to be small group of people . The reason being like Knapp(40;2011) state “ it is easy for people to interact with the artist are the best way to hold parties.”

Performing in university

I have choose the university of Newcastle as a place to hold, gigs and live performance. Simply because the university of Newcastle, not only is a big representation of Newcastle international and national gathering. But also it is the best place for where people of different age, background can meet and hang out and share similar experience and tough. As it is also a symbol of education.

Performing in shopping Mall

I belief that performing in shopping mall, could be a good experience, simply unlike university or school it target a wider range of people ,in term of ages, and wider range of people with different genre of people, It also cover people . By doing so music not only are we able to understand “the way in which social relation act in within the place”(p678;2005) and also how much music create as sense of belonging outside the walls of theatre and music centre.( Duffy , 2005)

BRING MUSIC TO PEOPLE RATHER THE PEOPLE TO MUSIC.

The advantage of hosting gigs .

Create a sense of place and gives them to opportunity to interact with one and other and the artist, it is easy to create that sense of togetherness and sharing the same kind of taste, or sharing difference in term of music and other social even. (Knapp, 2011)

It allow the artist to connect with the public at a deeper level, get inspiration from the audience, by listening their own personal story and understanding of music.

This can be done through: • Music trivia: where the audience will listen to a set of music, and ask about the genre of music. • Prizes will be awards at the ends to participant. 3. Interview with artist. Musician will get the chance to share they experience in music , with audience and other

upcoming musician, which with be helpful for student learning music and other artist to improve their skills, and create a sense of community.

Audience target

We are looking forward to target every generation.

The reason being simply because music is consider to be a universal language, also because music mean different things to different people, and also to close the gap between generation.

Just as” nationalism close the gap between music and culture” ( p178)

And also to get a richer understanding of political and aesthetics of music, and the social and emotional significant of music not only among young people but as well as old.(hesmondhalgh)

I do belief tat bring music to a smaller group of people. Will “ help them cope with , transform, or even resist, the disruptive, harmful aspects of growing global market and issue” (p127)

Music style

Style of music approach will totally depend of people, genre of music and location of performance.

and the artist ability to performed. Since we can’t really says that there is a particular genre of music to Newcastle. However by doing such a performance, we are looking forward to actually find out and gives newcastle an identity to genre of music. And also explore the genre of music that do exist already in hewcastle.
