Keep Me Warm.. this winter of 2011

We don’t know where our parents have brought us..

Its a cold and unfamiliar place..

We live on the roads, foot-paths or any clear piece of land..

Our dads don’t build us homes, because THEY will come and bring them down..

We move about like vagabonds..

We don’t have any access to education..

Although, this winter we hope to protect ourselves against the severe cold..

We hope you will help us with the “KEEP ME WARM” initiative..

Keep Me Warm INITIATIVE

Keep Me Warm is an initiative started by Ms. Aakanksha Sekhon, an advocate by profession.

The initiative involves bringing warm blankets to the needy children identified around Panchkula, Sector 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Since winter seems to be bitter and ruthless this year, with the minimum temperature already touching below 5 Degree Centigrade before Christmas, we hope that with your kind and generous efforts, we will be able to bring warmth to these children before New Years.

We have tied up with a wholesaler selling blankets, who is ready to sell woollen blankets as cheap as INR 125 and which can be delivered in a day.

From the areas visited, we have a head count of about 80 children.
