More on….ME!!!!

When I Was A Tot…• As a child, I could not sit still. I did not know what it

meant to be still. My parents always had me active in something, and most of what they had me active in was always physical and musical.

• Being on the go, we spent a ton of hours in the car, so I always heard the radio. On one particular birthday, my mother was doing my hair (which I always hated) and my dad called a radio station to wish my brother and I a happy birthday. When I heard the personality say my dad’s name, along with my brother and I, I was floored!!! I felt I wanted to listen to the radio forever.

Growing Up…

• In high school, I stopped playing the flute, and joined the choir. I had always been in the church choir (joining when I was around 2 or 3) but this would be the first time I sang in a choir outside of church.

• The choir was very well known in the area, and there were often mentions of us on the local stations, which made me want to listen to the radio even more!

Future Plans…• Although my mother always tells people she saw

me as a television anchor, I always wanted radio. I further enjoy being behind the scenes in radio because there’s more money and creativity

• I plan to have a lucrative career in radio and then off to law school for my entertainment law degree. Although I don’t really want to move to New York or L.A. for a career, I’d rather do New York out of both cities, and I’m very excited about the future!
