My brother and I said, “Goodbye Mum!” as we walked into Te Manawa. I was so

excited because I was going to be making

chocolate all by myself!

As I walked into the gallery with Mary as our leader, the smell of chocolate started to hit me, it smelt like a million lollies all at once. I was feeling thrilled and gleeful that I was going to be

making chocolate and I couldn’t wait to get started. When Mary

had just finished explaining what to do, I had already

started melting my chocolate.

“Finally my chocolate has melted.” I said inside my head. Now it was time to choose my moulds but there were too many to

choose from, so I just did a lucky dip. I was already having fun licking my

spoon and all that anyway.

Next it was time for the taste test. It was out of white

chocolate or dark. “Which one shall I eat first?” I

asked my friend. I chose to go with dark then white. I definitely liked the white better I thought, but they were both very yummy.

All and all I had a wonderful time making chocolate at Te Manawa and I would like to do it again sometime soon.

Once again I am thrilled and gleeful that I have made chocolate all by

myself.
