My Actors

Josh Surface (Mickey) Josh is a twenty year old man and he plays one of the most

important characters in my film. I chose Josh to play one of my lead roles because he has watched a lot of gangster films and therefore accustom to the conventions of a gangster film.

Josh also did drama at GCSE level so has experience in acting.

Josh also had some useful props at his disposal which were useful in the production of my film.

Courtney Fry (Michael) Courtney plays Michael in my film. He is not as comfortable

in front of the camera and therefore I decided to cast him as one of the lesser brothers in terms of lines within my film.

He is an extremely confident and a very outgoing person which is similar to Michael’s personality.

Courtney is a very good friend of mine and he helped me gain useful props.

Ben Hughes (Tony) Ben is a fairly camera shy person however his bold personality

and strong figure made him the perfect actor to play Tony in my production.

He however is a very busy person and therefore finding time where he was available along with everyone else at the same time did prove difficult.

Ben also had the perfect suit/costume which was a very nice coincidence and is also nfluential on my final grade.

Jack Hodge (Joey) Jack Hodge is seventeen years

old and he is also a valuable member of my cast as he also plays a big role in my film.

I chose Jack to be a main character mainly because of his enthusiasm and he too loves gangster films and has watched a lot of them.

Jack also has a very suitable voice to play the role that is required.

Jack is a film fanatic.

Sam Hodge (Donny) Sam Hodge plays a very interesting role

within my film. He plays the role of the most intimidating brother however I chose Sam specifically as he is probably one of the least intimidating people I have ever met. I did this to add a sense of humour to my film.

He also was very enthusiastic to get involved and Sam’s most useful attribute is his confidence in front of the camera.

Sam was an ideal candidate for this role.

Kyle Moxham (Ralf)

Kyle is a very energetic person and plays the role of Ralf. I modelled Ralf on Kyle himself as Ralf is actually a very lively and dynamic brother who occasionally annoys and pesters his older brothers.

He is a very positive and self assured person and he has no problem performing in front of the camera however he is very juvenile and getting him to focus did prove to be a problem during his scenes.
