 <center>Biografia Resumida de Selena</center><hr WIDTH=90% ALIGN="RIGHT" COLOR="#FF7F50" SIZE="20">Selena nació el 22 de Julio del año 1992 en Grand Prairie, Texas, Estados Unidos. Su madre la tuvo a la edad de 16 años y cuando Selena tenía nada más que cinco años sus padres se separaron. Según ha confiado Selena en reiteradas oportunidades su pasión por la actuación la heredó de su madre, una actriz de teatro antiguo, a quien vio actuar desde muy pequeña y de quien aprendió el oficio.<hr WIDTH=50% ALIGN="center" COLOR="#00FA9A" SIZE="10">El debut artístico de Selena fue ciertamente precoz, a la edad de siete años, como Gianna, en la serie infantil Barney & Friends. En tanto, la consolidación como estrella mediática adolescente y el salto cuanti y cualitativo en la carrera de Selena se dio gracias a la serie de Disney: Wizards of Waverly Place, en la cual desplegó un rol protagónico entre los años 2007 y 2012.<hr WIDTH=90% ALIGN="left" COLOR="#CD853F" SIZE="10">En el año 2008 se produce el comienzo de su carrerea de cantante; tras la firma de un contrato con la compañía discográfica Hollywood Records queda conformada la banda Selena Gomez & The Scene.
