The Maori are an indigenous culture of  New Zealand.

New Zealand is a large iland in the south coast  

   

Some contemporary Maori are traditional , some live non-traditional modern lives.

   

One traditional of the Maori  culture is the Haka war dance.The dance however is now performed for ceremonial purposes not war.

   

Another tradition of the Maori is Ta moko:tattoing opr painting face and body woth dark arching partterns.

 

Traditional Maori culture is truly an amazing culture. the way they tattoo their face . And the way they respect others

  

Sadly. like other conquered indigenous peoples, many Maori struggle, alcoholism and drug abuse
