Romance

Our music video will include the theme of romance/relationship as the main character in the clip is heart broken and is trying to get over his love. The title of the song says it all: ‘tonight I will let you go’.

Humour/Comdey

• We will try to make the video humorous by using stereotypical characters and over exaggerate their actions and personality. 

• Feminism/Male gaze would be incorporated in our music video through the attractive female character who is the interest of the male character. Post-feminism we will also incorporated a post-feminism view through our music video by making the main female character appear dominant compared to the male characters.

• Post-modernism: We want our music video to mirror a film style because we mainly want to focus the narrative. We will be paying homage to movies such as ‘Loser’ (2002) and Katy Perry’s TGIF music video.
