The Davidson legacy Chapter 1

“Now THAT is what I call three-bolt attraction!” Armando only had one bolt with Julia Davidson.

Page 3: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Hi, I’m Julia Davidson.” “I’m Armando Cox...”

Page 4: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“...and I’m a member of the local garden club! Call us using the service button over the phone and we’ll come and inspect your garden to see if you can join...”

Page 5: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Er, look... Armando. This is a legacy. You’re a garden club sim. You’ll bring in $1. That won’t help much. Sorry. We can be friends, but...” “I get it.”

Page 6: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Oh, look, Lee. It’s the new girl,” said Emily. “Mhm,” Lee replied, not trusting himself to say anything else.

Page 7: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Hi Amelia!” said Emily. “Hi.”

Page 8: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Er, hi?” said Julia, looking around the three people surrounding her.

Page 9: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I’m Emily, and look, I know why you’re here. You want to marry all the hot guys, and make me look like an idiot, and super ugly! I’m the prettiest girl here and NO ONE will take that away from me! Understand?”

Page 10: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“But I-” “Don’t try and act all innocent, Julia Davidson! You are stupid, cowardly, idiotic and will NEVER fit in!”

Page 11: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“What’s wrong with you?” Julia shouted.

Page 12: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Come on Lee, we’re leaving.”

Page 13: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Sorry about her,” said Amelia. “She’s like that with new people. I’m Amelia by the way.”

Page 14: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Thanks. There’s one in every neighbourhood, I guess...” she said, thinking of Ivan.

Page 15: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I hope Emily won’t turn everyone against me...” Julia thought aloud, later that day.

Page 16: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

She obviously hadn’t, because a few people came and said hi later on. Goopy GilsCarbo...

Page 17: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Christy Stratton...

Page 18: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

And Joe? Joe didn’t exactly say hi. Julia found him outside her house at one in the morning. “No! Stupid! Go away! Ohhh... The pain!” he was shouting, holding his head. “Er... Joe?”

Page 19: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe threw up. He was drunk.

Page 20: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Whoyuo...?” “Julia.”

Page 21: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Look, Joe, come inside and sleep here for the night.” “Yeh okayee...” he said, his words slurred.

Page 22: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia watched him sleep peacefully.

Page 23: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

When he woke up, he made the bed.

Page 24: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I can get you breakfast if you want...” “You don’t have to...”

Page 25: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia got out some instant meals from the fridge.

Page 26: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Thanks, Julia. But I need to go to work.” “Your welcome, see you soon!”

Page 27: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia left for work.

Page 28: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

And when she came back, Joe Carr was waiting for her. “Hello... “ she said, and he hugged her tightly.

Page 29: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

As they let go of each other, Joe ran his fingers through her hair.

Page 30: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Joe... Please don’t touch me too much,” Julia said, pushing him away.

Page 31: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Julia, can I just say, you are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” Julia blushed. “Have you been drinking again?” “Not at all.”

Page 32: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe kissed her.

Page 33: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Joe, I... I don’t know what to say.... Why did you kiss me?” “Julia, ever since I set eyes on you, I’ve loved you.”

Page 34: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I think now you’ve said that I feel the same way.”

Page 35: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Joe!” “Yes?” “Joe... Do you want to move in with me? I mean, you probably need someone to look after you...” Julia laughed.

Page 36: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe moved in with $19,000, and so they could build more of the house.

Page 37: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe and Julia slept together that night.

Page 38: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

The next morning, Julia woke up alone. Joe had gone to work.

Page 39: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

She ran to the bathroom and threw up.

Page 40: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia was also very tired.

Page 41: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe returned from work with a promotion.

Page 42: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Julia?” “Mm?” “You have to go to work...”

Page 43: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

When Julia returned home, Joe had a little surprise for her. A little surprise that came in the form of a black velvet box with a diamond ring inside. “Julia Davidson, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”

Page 44: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Yes!” Julia squealed, throwing herself into Joe’s arms.

Page 45: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

The next day, Julia had discovered the reason for her sickness. “Joe... I think I’m pregnant... I want to be married to you when the baby’s born...” “Then let’s get married now!”

Page 46: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

And so they did.

Page 47: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1
Page 48: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1
Page 49: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Not long after their marriage, it was evident that Julia’s suspicions had been correct.

Page 50: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Let’s play red hands!”

Page 51: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I win!” said Joe, laughing. “I let you...” Julia retorted.

Page 52: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I love you, Julia.”

Page 53: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I love you too, Joe.”

Page 54: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Whilst Julia was pregnant, Joe was the only source of income to the family.

Page 55: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Because of that, it was becoming hard to pay the bills.

Page 56: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Often Joe would come to home to Julia asleep.

Page 57: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

And so, he started to decorate and furnish the nursery.

Page 58: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I love it!” said Julia, kissing Joe lightly on the lips.

Page 59: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia couldn’t wait for the baby to be born.

Page 60: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe continued to get promoted.

Page 61: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

So, they could buy an easel. “Joe? Are you painting me?” “Yes!” “It’s really...” “Pretty, because you are.” “Joe!!”

Page 62: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia’s portrait was hung in the dining room.

Page 63: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia tried painting Joe, but... It wasn’t really like him.

Page 64: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Half way through her ‘masterpiece’, Julia felt an odd sensation and her hands flew to her stomach as pain overcame her. “JOOOOEEEE!!!”

Page 65: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I’m going to be a dad...” said Joe quietly.

Page 66: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“THE PAINN!!!” she screamed.

Page 67: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia gave birth to a little girl.

Page 68: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Joe! Hold her, quickly!”

Page 69: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia hadn’t finished.

Page 70: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

She popped out a baby boy.

Page 71: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Rebecca Davidson had blue eyes and brown hair.

Page 72: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

And Dylan Davidson the same.

Page 73: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“I’m so proud of you,” Joe murmured.

Page 74: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe took a shine to his daughter.

Page 75: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

And Julia wasn’t really a great mother....

Page 76: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

But Joe made up for it with his good fatherly skills.

Page 77: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Honestly, this is easy. Why does everyone make such a fuss?”

Page 78: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Can’t-lift... I think I see why...”

Page 79: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Unfortunately, Julia was at work when Rebecca grew up.

Page 80: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

She had Joe’s nose, but was a bit bald.

Page 81: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Instantly, she headed to the toilet.

Page 82: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia was home just in time for Dylan to grow up.

Page 83: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

He had a much more suitable hairstyle, and the same features as Rebecca.

Page 84: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe had a quick makeover...

Page 85: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

...as did Rebecca.

Page 86: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Dylan loved to play on the xylophone.

Page 87: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Whereas Rebecca could more often be found playing with her block game.

Page 88: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia finally finished a suitable painting of Joe.

Page 89: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Julia took up the task of teaching Rebecca to talk, which was difficult, but after a while Rebecca couldn’t stop!

Page 90: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Joe taught the much shyer Dylan, who took a while also, but preferred to stay quiet.

Page 91: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

Teaching them to walk was easier.

Page 92: The Davidson Legacy Ch.1

“Once upon a time, there was a place called George Mountain. It was ruled by an evil man named Ivan, who placed a magical barrier around the place, everyone was scared and lonely....”

Once upon a time, there was a place called George Mountain. It was ruled by an evil man named Ivan, who placed a magical barrier around the place, everyone was scared and lonely....”

“Where did this book come from?” wondered Julia...
