r 8

Yay! Generation 2 has ! :D I’m going to try and make the chapters

a bit longer than first few I wrote in this legacy - hopefully at least 50 slides. For some reason, this

chapter felt really confusing to write, so I hope it’s not too confusing to read! (Oh, and if you

don’t like 1st person, which I know some people don’t, I suggest you skip to slide 32)

Dear diary...

Tomorrow is my wedding, and I’m so nervous, but also extremely

excited! I can’t believe it’s come around so quickly. It seems like only yesterday Orlando and I

were just kids.

Dear diary, I’m married! When Orlando

slipped that little golden ring on my finger, it was the best feeling in the world! We were finally a

family.

Tying the knot was even better though! I’m now Mrs Holly Blue

Bertino!

After the wedding me and Orlando... had some fun.

Dear diary, It snowed! Orlando and I had

snowball fights, and made snow angels and snowmen... I love snow!

Dear diary, I’ve been feeling under-the-

weather lately. I keep on throwing up. Urgh, it’s horrible.

But to try and cheer me up, Orlando is painting me. He’s so

talented!

Dear diary, Turns out I didn’t have a sickness

bug, but I’m pregnant!

Orlando is over the moon, and to be honest, so am I!

Well, I’m going to stop writing now – we’re just going to go and

decorate the nursery!

Dear diary...

I found myself a cute little cottage at the edge of Cloudburst Cove.

I met up with a man who knows quite a bit about the career I’m in.

His name is Robert Baker.

Soon, we became good friends.

I’m not sure whether it’s because I’ve never had a boyfriend before,

but I started to flirt with him. I’m pretty certain that he didn’t mind though.

I shared my first kiss with him!

Dear diary, Robert came over today, and

said: “Madeline, we haven’t known each other for long, but come and

live with me!”

He hugged me so tightly when I said yes – it made me smile.

It was raining when we arrived at his house, but boy is it

amazing! It’s so beautiful and massive...

When I first arrived, he grabbed hold of my hands and said,

“Maddie, do you want a room of your own, or do you want to share?”

After thinking about it for a bit, I said my own. I had a plan.

My room was quite small, but cosy and modern. He said I was

welcome to go and see him any time I wanted. After a quick peck on the cheek, he left.

That night, I snuck into his room whilst he was in the shower and

waited by the wall. I’m not sure what got into me, but I just... I think I’m in love... and feeling

reckless.

He came out, and said, “Jesus, Maddie! Why the hell are

you in here?” But I could see he didn’t really mind at all.

“Well, you said I was welcome any time I wanted... you didn’t specify what I should be

wearing...” I replied.

That night was amazing.

I’ve changed a lot recently, diary. But it feels great.

Dear diary, You’ll never guess what!

Ricky proposed to me!

I said yes, of course. Ricky and I agreed that we wanted a small

wedding, probably just the two of us.

My mum, not knowing that’s what we wanted, went and

bought a whole load of stuff.

Dear diary, I’ve been learning how to play the

piano. Never mind. I had more to say, but my mum’s here.

“Lauren, tomorrow morning is your wedding, is everything

ready?” “Oh poo. It is, isn’t it?”

“Don’t tell me you forgot about your own wedding!?”

“No... of course not!” “Good!” laughed Evangeline.

The next day came round very quickly, and before she knew it,

Lauren was married and Ricky was Ricky Foxglove.

“Dad, I got a boyfriend!” “I’m so proud of you, Maddie.”

They cut the cake, and Ricky was the lucky one to get it shoved in

his face.

“So, are you planning on having kids?”

“Holly! We’re not even married!”

The conversations continued as the family sat down to eat cake.

That night at dinner, however, Evangeline had something else on

her mind. “So, when are we getting grandchildren?”

Ricky choked, and luckily Lauren saved him from having to answer.

“We could start trying tonight?” “That would be great, sweetheart!”

So, they did.

When Lauren woke up, she found Orlando standing in the corner.

“Great. This ruins everything!” “Erm, Orlando?”

“Ok! I admit it! I’ve always like... liked liked you... I sort of hoped...”

“I suppose you don’t want me to tell Holly Blue about this...?”

“Oh, no! Blue! I’ve made a right mess of this!”

“Orlando, just go home, and pretend nothing happened.” Orlando sighed, and left.

Madeline began to feel sick, and would often throw up.

“You’ve been being sick a lot recently, haven’t you, Lauren?”

“Yeah? So what? I’ve always been a sickly child.”

“I think you’re pregnant!” “Really?”

“Yes.”

“That’s awesome!”

It was soon obvious that Evangeline was right.

“Hello?” “Hello, it’s Elise.”

“Oh, hi.”

“I just want an update of what’s been happening. Even thought I

already know.” Orlando ignored this. “Well, Holly Blue and Lauren are

pregnant and married, and Madeline has a boyfriend... Erm... Me and my wife are now elders...

That’s about it.”

“Hm, ok. Goodbye.”

Orlando hung the phone back up. “I’m never going to get rid of her,

am I?” he said solemnly.

“Mum, mum, mum, mum! I’m pregnant, like you said!”

“That’s great, but you should really tell that husband of yours.”

“RICKY! I’m pregnant!”

“That’s great! Don’t squash the baby, though,” he said, pushing

her away, laughing.

“Hello?” “Lauren! It’s Maddie!”

“You’ll never believe it – I’m pregnant, and engaged to

Robert!” “Congrats!” As soon as she put the phone

down, it rung again.

“Hello?” “You might want to tell your mum

– Holly Blue’s having the baby!” It was Orlando. “Great! Call again when it’s born!”

At their house, Holly Blue was in a lot of pain.

“AHHHH! GET IT OUT!”

Soon, she was holding in her arms a baby boy, who they named

Archie.

“Orlando! There’s another one!”

She also gave birth to a girl, who was named Caitlin.

“Lauren? It’s Orlando! She had twins! Archie and Caitlin!”

“Congrats!”
