Two married pumpkins were carved in time for Halloween, and welcomed all the children to come

and celebrate Halloween in the Canadian winter.

Afterwards they decided to retire together to a railing with a view.

As does often happen during the winter in Canada, it snowed.

And it snowed …

There was so much snow, that Mrs. Pumpkin fell backwards off the railing.

(the rumour that Mr. Pumpkin helped her fall was proven false)

A friendly passer-by helped Mrs. Pumpkin back up

onto her rightful place again, and brushed off some of the snow.

And to avoid any further falls, the two married Pumpkins held on to each other,

Happily Ever After!

And those still in the house had left over Halloween candies and pumpkin soup

well into the New Year.
