Exercise 5: Tic-Tac-Toe game (work in pairs; one person is O and another is X)

Instruction: There are 9 phrasal verbs in each table. You have to decide who want

to play first. To begin the game, the first player choose one verb and then create

(his/her) own sentence. Another player will check it if it’s correct or not.

If it’s correct, the first player can draw (his/her) own symbol.

If not, he/she cannot draw it and then another player takes turn

and does the same thing.

Whoever can have 3 of their symbols in a row, whether it is horizontally,

vertically, or diagonally, is the winner.
