Test objectives

To assess the effects of Ampelos on some physicochemical soil characteristics that have a direct relation to the productive capacity of the vine.

Evaluate the quality of crop production of table grapes developed in soils fertilized with Ampelos

To assess the impact of the product on the specific characteristics of the vine

Conclusion:

Two weeks anticipation of high quality grapes harvest (Brix grade over 15°)

Increase in total production by respectively 53% and 16%

49% of harvest value is in the First Cut (prime price)

Increase in revenues by respectively 60% and 24%

Application of Ampelos Humificant in pre-wintering was more effective then winter application

Conclusions

Observations at beginning of July Absence of downy mildew and powdery mildew in the vineyards

Some downy mildew spots, but of insignificant grade, have been noted only in some clusters less exposed to the treatment because of the abundant vegetation

Vegetation is very lush and bright green

Absence of particular deficiencies indicates a clear wellbeing status of the trees

Final commentsWeekly surveys confirms the substantial protection from main vine phytopathologies both on the clusters and on the trees

Foliar stripping around the clusters has shown a slight attach of mildew at inflorescence with same effect on the different treatments thesis

The parcel treated with Protexx showed higher protection against mildew late attack
