• Livestock is a key part in climate change

mitigation and adaption strategies (18% of global GHG emissions)

• This involves :

• increasing resource efficiency, and;

• increasing resilience of animals and animal production chains by;

• integrating breeding, feeding, welfare/health and housing systems.
