WHAT IS THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a loosely defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

WHAT IS THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE

The Bermuda Triangle is basically a death wish. When someone goes in. They have a 2/10 chance of returning . The cause is still yet unknown. Some foolish people thinks there are Aliens.

FLIGHT -19On December 5th, 1945, five Torpedo

bombers left the Naval Air Station at Fort Lauderdale. They never returned home. There was 14 brave men. They were flying over the Bahamas which was the direction Flight 19 was heading. They were supposed to be practicing newly acquired bombs, but they hit a slight problem 56 miles away. Which of course was the Bermuda Triangle. Rescue aircraft was also disappeared.

Some of the flight 19 pilots were big in there community. On the date they disappeared each year they hold a annual remembrance.

The first person to document strange things going on in the area was actually Jacob Brock. On his first trip through the area he stated that he saw mysterious lights and had difficulty with the compass as it did funny things.

UNKNOWN FACTS ABOUT BERMUDA TRIANGLEThe Bermuda triangle is one of two

places on earth that on a compass, will not point through NORTH. This means that you have to compensate .

There is a lot of methane gas trapped in this area. Methane gas trapped under the sea floor can erupt and as a result can lower the water density which can cause ships to sink. Even plane flying over it, can catch fire and get completely destroyed during such a gas blowout.

At the time of coining the term , the first name that came was “MIAMI TRIANGLE”

but Florida objected saying that they would lose visitors to Miami with such name. As people would fear to come there. So the next name taken was “PUERTO RICO TRIANGLE” . Puerto Rico too raised objections . Then it was the turn for the tiny island Bermuda . Which forms the third corner of the triangle. Bermuda was also known as the “Island of the devil’s” . Which fitted to the triangle concept quite well and therefore the final name “BERMUDA TRIANGLE” was coined.

MY REFLECTION

I did the Bermuda Triangle because it is a great mystery and I have always liked mysteries.
