The Agua Munda Condor (Patent Pending) is

an efficient self-contained, portable water

filtration system that removes 99.9999% of

bacterial and protozoan pathogens that cause

waterborne diseases.

With proper maintenance, the Agua Munda

Condor (Patent Pending) will continuously

produce clean, safe water for up to 10 years.

Most other hollow fiber

filters produce between 1/2

to 2 liters (2 to 4 cups) of

clean water per minute.

The Condor filter can

produce up to 19 liters (5

gallons) per minute, which

translates into more clean

water in 24 minutes than the

entire life expectancy of

many other filters.

Many filters have a life span

limited by the number

liters/gallons of water they

can purify. The Condor can

produce vast amounts of

water for up to 10 years

when properly maintained.

The Condor barrel style filter

is made from a durable, food

safe Rubbermaid™ container

that easily adapts to varying

environmental conditions.

assembled in less than one

hour by one person. It

requires no electricity to

consistently produce high

volumes of clean water.

Other filters on the market

have many parts, requiring

more training and expertise

MAINTENANCE

Proper functionality and

longevity of the Condor

filter is ensured by a simple

backwashing procedure that

takes only minutes to

complete.

To clean the Condor filter

element, all that is needed is

to pump purified water

through the filter via the

rotary pump.

PORTABILITY

The Condor filter is light

weight, making it easily

transportable to any

location by a single person.

The Condor filter does not

rely solely on gravity to

produce clean, safe water. As

long as the filter is covered

with water, it will produce a

steady quantity of clean, safe

water and maintain a

consistent flow no matter the

DR. MARTHA RUTHERFORD is Agua Munda's

educational outreach coordinator and international

liaison. She has spent the last 30 years as a bilingual

professor, advocating for better public health and

human rights practices worldwide.

DR. JOHN DRACUP is the CEO of Agua Munda and a

Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the

University of California, Berkeley. He is a licensed civil

engineer, who has consulted on large scale water

projects around the world for decades.

DEAN RUTHERFORD is Agua Munda's 'appropriate

technology' specialist, lead inventor, and field

implementation expert. He has nearly 40 years of

experience, working on poverty alleviation and social

welfare campaigns in Latin America.
