[Oceans Minister Yoon Jin-sook] dismissed concerns that contaminatedfisheries from the eight blocked Japanese prefectures were being disguised asproducts from other parts of the country. [...]

Meanwhile, some experts’ views contrast with the minister’s.

“No one can block fish migration along with sea currents,” said Chang Jung-ouk, a nuclear energy policy professor at Matsuyama University. “Whenfishermen catch fish in Aomori Prefecture and trade them in Hokkaido, thatmeans Korea could import fish from Aomori through Hokkaido.”

Kim Ik-joong, a microbiology professor at Dongguk University, said currentmeasures are not enough.

“The government needs to ban all fish imports from all regions of Japan,” Kimsaid.

Hello, long time subscriber to the site, recently registered. 1st post. The commentshere are invaluable. ?: finally procured a Geiger (PRM-9000). I understand (well)

the limitations (scintillator lectures are long of tooth!). Any recommendations for a decent (notjust chopsticks/nubs) shim-setup when using the device~alpha? Concerned about tubeintegrity (standard pancake/mica+screen). Was thinking of a Velcro-attaches-to-shim kindasetup. Any suggestions would be well appreciated!

Fish has been radioactive for upwards of 80 years. I stopped eating fish 40 yearsago. Blame yourself if you are still eating fish or any animal products which are at

least 20 times more radioactive than other vegetable food.
